common problems
|
1. Not enough hard drive space.
Your Mac will run better if you leave 5-10% of your system drive empty. If you're closing in on that amount it's time to upgrade to a larger drive or move some of your files onto an external firewire or USB drive.
2. Not enough memory.
If you bought your Mac a while ago it's possible your memory is getting tapped out. Upgrading your RAM is the most cost effective way to improve performance.
3. No backup plan.
If something is "just not right" you might be headed for a hard drive failure. Don't risk losing valuable files and irreplaceable photos and video! Have a backup system and use it!
